Steve Richloff
Project Manager / Living Artifact
Steve has been in the electrical field since roughly the tail end of the Jurassic period. His career began as an apprentice to Ben Franklin, where he not only tied the key to Ben’s kite string but also had the critical job of extinguishing his flaming coattails.
From there, he went on to help Einstein “invent” the light bulb (despite some heated debates with Edison) and played a vital role in the widespread adoption of knob-and-tube wiring—because, apparently, modern safety standards are for the weak.
For the last 150 years or so, Steve has been with T & T Electric, starting as a foreman and eventually becoming a project manager. He’s been instrumental in shaping the moldy minds of many up-and-coming electricians—some of whom still believe wire nuts are edible thanks to his early mentorship.
Steve has been with us so long that we’ve stopped referring to him by name and simply call him “The Furniture.” Reliable, solid, and slightly dusty, but impossible to imagine the place without.

Steve King
Director of Innovation
With decades of experience across various roles, including project foreman, lead estimator, project manager, and owner of a successful contracting business for over 11 years, Steve has a well-rounded perspective on the industry. In 2006, he pioneered the development of design-to-fabrication-to-installation workflows, recognizing the potential for a more streamlined and effective approach to delivering electrical construction projects.
Today, Steve is spearheading T&T’s innovation strategy, leveraging cutting-edge technology to elevate the company and deliver exceptional, best-in-class services to clients.
